BESPOKE CUTTER DESIGNS
Introduction
I am happy to create custom designs providing the following apply:

It is not a direct copy of someone else's design

It is not a "brand name" such as Disney, Marvel Etc

It is not too complex - my printers can only produce a certain amount of detail so some requests may be declined on that basis

It does not exceed 5" in any one direction - items larger than this will not fit on my printer.

I physically have time - the demand for my cutters is currently high and creating new collections take time so I will only take on new requests if it is something I can fulfill in a reasonable time-frame.

Cost
Designing and printing takes time so every cutter will vary depending on its complexity.
My charges are as follows:
For designs I choose to put into mainstream re-sale across my selling platforms:
Example: you want a skeleton cutter for halloween but you don't mind that anyone else can buy it too.
Printing fees: £2 per hour - example a cutter that takes 2.5 hours to print will cost £5.00 plus the postage fees. Multiple cutters will be charged in the same manner per piece.
(Most small cutters take between 30 mins and 1.5hrs)

Mainstream designs will be added to my website when complete for purchase as normal and you will be notified of the link.
For designs bespoke to the customer and not for re-sale:
Example: you have drawn a specific shape that you want turning into a cutter that no one else can buy:
Design rights: £15 per hour (minimum one hour will be charged). This fee will only apply if you request a cutter that will remain exclusive to you. I therefore will not put it into production for re-sale on my website/etsy/ebay.
This cutter will remain your design providing the shape you request is not a copy of someone else’s work.
Printing fees and postage fees still apply on top of this charge.

Bespoke cutters will be subject to a £15 deposit before the work is undertaken with the remainder to pay upon completion. The exact cost of this item is not known until the design phase is complete. You will be notified of the final cost with a payment request made through a purchase link on the website. Failure to pay the remainder of the charges withing 14 days will result in the loss of your deposit to compensate for my time. I also reserve the right to put this item into production for re-sale in this instance.

Testing
If you decide to have a bespoke cutter made and you purchase the design rights please understand that I will need to test this cutter. Therefor it will be used once to check it is suitable for sale. I endevour to do this with white clay to avoid colour transfer and your cutter will be thoroughly cleaned after this process. If you do not wish for this to happen and want to purchase a "brand new" cutter the printing fees will be charged twice (as I have had to print the cutter twice).
This does not apply to mainstream cutters.
TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR BESPOKE CUTTERS
Any design requested by the client will remain the property of Sunshine Cutters and may be continually re-sold unless the client requests to purchase the design rights (see above). The cost of this will be charged at £15 per hour inclusive of the time it took to design to the nearest half an hour, plus postage and packaging fees.
Sunshine Cutters will not copy other peoples' work. A similar shape may be requested. Brand names such as Disney, Marvel etc. will not be replicated under any circumstances.
The price of a bespoke cutter will depend on the complexity of the design, the size and the time it takes to print. Larger/more complex cutters such as embossed cutters will be more expensive. The price for each cutter or set of cutters can only be disclosed after the design stage when the time it took to design it is known.

Please note that the picture you send will most likely be re-drawn/traced in my designing software so please make sure it is definitely what you want before I proceed so it is not left up to my interpretation.

Deposits for bespoke cutters are strictly non refundable unless I am unable to complete you design.
